According to him, we would like to correct the record and highlight his notable achievements.
Contrary to the false claims, Hon. Adefarati has been an active and dedicated representative of Akoko Southwest and South East Federal Constituency since his inauguration.
One of his notable accomplishments is sponsoring the “National Productivity Center Act,” which has successfully passed its second reading.
As the chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Labour, Employment and Productivity he waded into the delayed implementation of the newly approved N70,000 minimum wage by the federal and state state governments.
In his capacity, himself and the members of his committee also fast tracked the disbursement of Basic Primary Healthcare provision Funds (NPHCDA) by the primary health care development agency.
Asiwaju Adegboyega Adefarati, last year, presented a motion which he titled, “Need for urgent Dualization of Akungba-Ikare Federal Road (6KM) and the Downgrading of Akungba (Okerigbo) Hill to Avert further Carnage on the Road in Akoko South/East and South/West Federal Constituency, Ondo State”.
It will interest you to know that At the end, the House resolved that the Project (The Dualization of Akungba-Ikare Road and Downgrading of Okerigbo Hill) has beeb captured by the Federal Ministry of Works in 2025 Appropriation/Budget which is currently before the national assembly.
In addition to his legislative work, Hon. Adefarati has been tirelessly working to benefit his constituents. His efforts have focused on empowering youths, improving educational infrastructure, creating employment opportunities, and providing for the basic needs of the community.
His constituents have publicly hailed him as a “worthy ambassador” for his unwavering dedication and impactful contributions.
It is clear that these allegations are nothing but a desperate attempt by opposition forces to tarnish Hon. Adefarati’s reputation and to undermines his good work.
