Management of Ambrose Alli University, AAU, Ekpoma, has lauded the favourable policies initiated by Governor Monday Okpebholo which has repositioned the university.
The Head of Corporate Communications, AAU, Comrade Aladenika, during a ‘thank you’ visit to journalists in Benin City for their solidarity and support to the institution, said AAU is rising again due to the efficient management of the Governing Council appointed by the governor.
Speaking on the dilapidated structures in the institution, he pointed out that it was not in the position of government to bring in engineers to renovate the structures, but the role of the university management.
Aladenika revealed that the position of principal officers had been declared vacant, urging those with the requisite qualifications to apply for the various positions as advertised by the governing council.
He added that with the governing council on board, the school environment is peaceful, as students and lecturers are carrying out their academic activities in a friendly environment.
