5th Year In Office: Yobe Adviser Congratulates Buni

Special adviser to the Yobe state governor on Hajj Operation, Hon Baffa Maina, has congratulated Hon Mai Mala Buni as he marks his five years as Governor of Yobe state.

The adviser stated this while briefing Newsmen in his office in Damaturu, Yobe state Capital, stating that the continued progress and prosperity of Yobe state under Buni’s guidance is a significant milestone

He commended Governor Buni for his leadership style and his commitment to the development of the state.

According to him, “Your exemplary leadership styles within this five years has brought about unprecedented achievement through implementation of meaningful projects and programmes that touch the lives of the good people of Yobe state.”

He added that, “Your unwavering commitment to the development of our beloved state is truly commendable.”

Maina said that the dedication to completing inherited projects and initiating transformative new ones, such as the ongoing construction of modern markers, roads and drainages reflects visionary leadership.

He also commended Buni for the sustained progress in the health and education sectors under Buni’s administration, which he believes ensures a brighter future and better outcomes for the people of Yobe.

Baffa praised the governor’s focus on youth and women empowerment, noting that the inclusive governance approach that fosters opportunities and growth for all segments of society.

He mentioned that Governor Buni approved N179.8m subsidy to 1,332 pilgrims to Saudi Arabi for this year’s Hajj Operation, adding that every pilgrim received the sum of N135,000 Basic Travelling Allowance.

According to him all Pilgrims are in good condition and praying for the governor, and government of Yobe state, and also for peace and prosperity of Yobe state and Nigeria.
