The Chairperson House Committee North East Development Commission (NEDC), Hon Khadija Bukar Abba Ibrahim, has appealed to Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State to continue the good works he had started for the betterment of the people of the state.


She said the achievements under Governor Mai Mala Buni within two years of his administration are overwhelming?, and he should continue with the ongoing massive infrastructural development across the state.

Hon Khadijah described Buni as a blessing to Yobe, noting that it takes leaders with rare intelligence, prudence and commitment to achieve as much as Buni, considering the meagre resources and security challenges of the state as well as the disruptions caused by Covid-19 pandemic.

She said, “I am confident that the trust placed on you by the citizens of Yobe state will inspire you to continue the good works, leading the state on the path of prosperity, further well-being and security for our people.

According to her, Buni had shown to the world that he is a true leader with uncommon value and potentials, noting that his love for Yobe despite the tasking national engagements for rebuilding and reposirioning our great party, the APC is second to none.

“I am highly pleased that our people are becoming increasingly in happy and in love with your administration. I firmly believe that our state will continue to develop dynamic, mutually beneficial relations, and that your continuity, consolidation and innovations in the fields of education, infrastructure and health will move our dear state to greater height.
