She unveiled the new kit designed by her outfit at the 2024 National Trials at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin, Edo State.
Onyekwere was back at the top of the Nigerian women’s Discus event, reclaiming her National title after three years.
The Mechanical Engineer threw 59.43m to win the title, beating African Games champion, Obiageri Amaechi who threw 59.25m for 2nd place. Ashley Anumba finished 3rd in the event with a throw of 57.00m.
Recall that the trials were used to select the Nigerian track and field teams for the African Senior Athletics Championships in Douala, Cameroun, the World Athletics U-20 Championships in Peru, and the Paris Olympic Games, which will be held from 16-18 June 2024.
