Security, technology, infrastructural development, education and home grown business are some of the highlights of the Presidential manifesto of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

Whereas his aspiration is still unclear, a leaked campaign master plan of his political move is a pointer to the fact that he is leaving no stone unturned to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari in 2023.

Also included in the campaign manifesto of the former Lagos State Governor are leadership, true federalism and democratic process.

The key areas the campaign master plan covered include education, technology, infrastructure, home grown business, leadership, and true federalism and democratic process.

Provide transformational leadership that has the ability to unify all of Nigeria and lead us to the attainment of shared goals and vision.

Leverage modern technology for digital transformation and economic growth.

Create conditions that allow citizens move and transact freely across the Nation.

Commence extensive infrastructural development by building basic foundational services (24 hrs access to electricity, roads, bridges e.t.c) that connect (power) people and businesses ultimately improving the quality of living.

Homegrown Businesses

Build platforms that enable and empower homegrown businesses to scale and compete favourably in the global market.

Deploy initiatives targeted at promoting knowledge and equipping learners of all age groups with the skills and values needed to address modern-day challenges globally. Propagate and activate strategies that also promote a sense of pride and awakening amongst all Nigerian citizens to the extent that people feel extremely patriotic and ecstatic to be Nigerians.

Tinubu, who is the national leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, it will be recalled was instrumental to the emergence and victory of Buhari and the party at the 2015 general elections.

Some of his foot soldiers had told Nigerians to wait till early next year to know whether or not the politician would contest the election.

However, a number of campaign groups have sprung up in many parts of the country, tipping the politician as the best man for the job.

Those at the forefront of the campaign often mention his exploits as Lagos State governor between 1999 and 2007, even as they also refer to him as a man who knows how to identify and build leaders.

Meanwhile, there are indications that groups against his interest are leaving no stone unturned to ensure he does not emerge candidate of the party.

In fact, a source disclosed that Tinubu is the reason the party has yet to hold its national convention. The source disclosed those against his aspiration within the party are shopping for a national chairman that would ensure he does not emerge the party’s candidate.
