Two persons have been confirmed dead in a clash by rival cult groups in Obiaruku community in Delta State.
The Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe confirmed the death of the two persons yesterday.
Though Edafe did not give more details on the incident, AljazirahNigeria learnt that the deceased were killed as Eiye and Vikings cult groups engaged in a clash on Sunday evening.
While it is not clear if the deceased were members of any of the cult groups, they were killed at different locations in the town.
One of the victims was accosted in a drinking bar by members of Eiye confraternity who shot sporadically to scare other persons away before they killed him.
