Two second half goals from Arsenal striker, Alex Iwobi saw Nigeria overpowered perennial rival by 4 goals to 2 in an international friendly played at Krasanador Stadium in Russia on tuesday. The Super Eagles came from 2-0 down to beat Argentina, World Cup winners in 1978 and 1986.

A goal each from debutant Bryan Idowu and Kelechi Iheanacho in the 45 minutes and 54 minutes respectively secured a historic win for the Eagles.

Ever Banega and Sergio Aguero were the scorers for Argentina in the first half.

Deportivo La Coruna goalkeeper Francis Uzoho was impressive in his debut game for the Eagles.
