Fayose felicitates with deputy on promotion as professor

Ekiti State governor, Mr. Ayodele Fayose, has congratulated his deputy, Dr. Kolapo Olusola, on his elevation to the post of a professor at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi,  in Ado-Ekiti, the governor said the promotion was well-deserved, given the high level of commitment,  passion and dedication with which Olusola went about his assignments and duties.

“We give all the glory to God who promotes and puts people in positions of authority. I rejoice with you on this great achievement of getting to the pinnacle of your profession.  I have no doubt that you deserve your new position.

“Since our paths met through politics, you have proven to be a man of diligence and one who handles his assignments with great zeal to deliver and even deliver well. Since you took office about three years ago, you have positively impacted on the state as a great educationist among others.

“I pray that the Lord will give you more opportunities to serve mankind and grant you long life and sound health. Ekiti people are proud of you and have no doubt that you will not relent efforts in the discharge of the duties expected of you as a result of your elevation, “ the governor stated.
